things to know before choosing your Frenchie

Were the parents or puppies tested for genetic disease?
Is there any history of medical complications?
Have the parents or breeding line developed elongated soft pallet issues or complications with elongated pallets at birth?
Has the breeder vaccinated the puppy?
It should have two Parvo vaccines before going to the home.
How many litters has the mom had?
Typically, the rule is no more than four breedings, but it differs from dog to dog. Stopping after three breedings is a high standard.
What is the age of the dog being bred?
According to AKC rules, a dog must be at least eight months old but not more than 12 years old on the date of mating.
How clean is the space where the dogs were bred?
Infections can spread in small, dirty spaces.
Have you screened your breeder for any history of negligence or malpractice?
